Supporting OneWorld Health

Over the last eight years we have partnered with OneWorld Health to support their mission of bringing sustainable healthcare to East Africa and Central America.

Together we have raised:

To support the work of OneWorld Health

What is OneWorld Health?

A non-profit based in Charleston, SC, OneWorld Health is revolutionizing the approach to medical intervention in the developing world by moving beyond relief to achieve long-term improvements in health.

Developing Sustainable Healthcare

In a world where nearly half the population lives on less than $2 per day, socialized healthcare systems are overcrowded, poorly equipped, and underfunded. OWH is bridging the gap between ineffective, socialized care and unaffordable, private care. By creating sustainable medical centers that offer low-cost services, OWH is able to increase accessibility to high-quality healthcare and empower communities for a healthy tomorrow.

Empowering Communities

Whatever the health need, patients are given the best quality healthcare in their region at a price they can afford. Since opening their first sustainable medical center in January 2011, OneWorld Health continues to transform healthcare in the developing world one community at a time.

Equipping Volunteers

OneWorld Health’s short-term medical teams are a vital component of their vision to empower communities to achieve long-term improvements in health and quality of life. Several times a year, OneWorld Health sends teams of medical and non-medical volunteers to serve the communities surrounding our project sites in Central America and East Africa.
